TCA Antidepressants

S/S: hyperthermia, tachycardia, hypertension, altered mental status, prolonged QTi, ventricular dysrhythmias, seizures.

TX: sodium bicarbonate, lidocaine, magnesium, benzodiazepines.


Sympathomimetics (Cocaine, methamphetamine, Molly)

S/S: euphoria, mydriasis, tachycardia, hyperthermia.

TX: benzodiazepines, sodium bicarbonate, phentolamine.


Sedatives/Benzodiazepine OD

S/S: respiratory depression, CNS depression, bradycardia.

TX: assist ABCs, flumazenil is no longer recommended for overdose since risk of seizures.


Opioids

S/S: respiratory depression is most concerning.

TX: Assist breathing and consider naloxone for opioid-induced respiratory depression.
